The Test Icicles are a high-energy power trio based in Toronto with one motive - to bring the most authentic and entertaining rock and roll experience imaginable to our clients and fans. We’ve been igniting crowds and filling dance floors since 2001, from the clubs to the highest corporate level. With combined resumes that read like a who’s who of the Canadian music industry, we channel our experiences acquired over decades of touring internationally with top recording artists every time we hit the stage. Seeing The Test Icicles live is like hearing 30 of your favourite rock bands of all time, with all the intensity and faithfulness to the originals intact. We take great pride in our chameleon-like interpretations of anything from Queen to The Killers, and kicking everything we do into rock and roll overdrive.

Born out of the love of playing the greatest music of all time, band members Michael Borkosky (guitar, lead voice), Shaun Noronha (bass, keyboards, backing voice) and Sean Kilbride (drums, percussion) have toured and recorded with many of Canada’s top recording artists. Kim Mitchell, Carole Pope, Haywire, Melanie Doane, Low Level Flight, Sass Jordan, Tom Cochrane, Alannah Myles, Lee Aaron, and several Canadian Idol winners have benefitted from having one or more of us on tour or in the studio with them. Sean Kilbride has held the drum throne for several of Toronto’s longest running theatre productions including "Come From Away" and “We Will Rock You.” Shaun Noronha is a former member of indie band Low Level Flight and appeared in their top 10 videos, and Mike B is an acclaimed producer/engineer who’s had chart success with artists like illScarlett, Rex Goudie, Alannah Myles, and the aforementioned LLF, and continues studio work at the highest level.
